Intro to yoga JeffreyBryson 08/02/04
Hi, Dorothy. I have a friend who's been doing yoga for a few years now. Because of how fit he's become he's inspired me to venture into trying yoga out- something that's had some attraction to me for a while. I'm already in very good shape, but I know from him that yoga strengthens the body in ways that would put me to shame presently. So, I'm interested both for the strengthening aspect but, I'd say, equally for the ways it increases flexibility.

I'm hoping that you can direct me to, say, a good DVD and/or book that would be a good introduction and that would get me on my way to these aspects that appeal to me. Also, please direct me if possible to something/s that don't focus on the meditative or spiritual aspects. I'm only interested in the physical aspects.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jeffrey
