what is a simple word for 'virtual'?

Thanks for the answer :)... I am looking for something simple to explain 'virtual'. I found 'artificial reality' already as another good explanation. So your answer 'not real' is a good answer, but I would like something simple that explain the 'artificial' part of of the not real thing.

How about "imaginary"? Something I was thinking about, too! No need to rate my replies, just trying to help you!:)

      Thanks for the answer :)...
"imaginary", "magical", "make-beleive"... all sounds to me very nice... but somehow I still would like to find something simple for the "artificial"...

Thanks in advance for your answer.
