Is it really true that there are no public toilets in Peru? I've got a "trivia facts" book that claims there are no public toilets in Peru. Is this a true fact?

Clarification/Follow-up by denberg on 02/19/06 7:52 am: So it appears that my book is not strictly correct - it is not true to say that there are no public toilets in Peru, just that there aren't as many as in the USA or UK...
