Culture Series # 10. ROLCAM 03/12/05
How does acculturation differ from assimilation?

      Clarification/Follow-up by curious98 on 03/14/05 3:00 am:
      For Rolcam

Well, the way you broke down your questions looked like some homework of some kind!

Age has actually nothing to do with age. I'm 79, have been happily married for 55, have 4 sons and 7 grandsons, and despite it all, I have started to study Japanes...!
I like languages very much. I more or less can manage myself in English, French, Italian, Portuguese, Germnan, Spanish and Catalan, plus a little Russian and Arabic. So I though that Japanese would be a nice addition to my C.V.
And I have got homework my Japanese teacher, Mariko -who could be my grandaughter- gives me twice a week.
      SO you see?
