Hi
Today, we had our yearly evaluation and my supervisor said that I overlook a lot things while working and wile making my documents. She said i also do this in my private life. She is right because my parents told me the same thing on the weekend. My mom said that usually people have things they are interested in but you have none.
How do I train to become alert, point out mistakes, errors and be just plain old sharp. Are there any techniques I can do that someone can suggest or guide me on a website without spending money that I don’t have.
The examples she gave was like when we are gathering data, when we come stuck and after searching for something, she says that I give up too easily and opt to omit the data from our presentation rather than going after the various departments and individuals to give the data to us.
She said my desk always has scatter papers on it and usually my ideas are too.
She said that I have a lot of potential but waste my energy and fail to focus and concentrate. She said that I was not like this before.
What can I do? I need to improve fast because I have a lot of colleagues who aren’t helpful and just plain old mean.
