Hello i was sent to a so called specialised by my new family doctor that said would know more about the medication and effects of pregnancy. They did not give me anything positive. My epilepsy specialist is starting to take me off the one medication for being prepared to have a baby and on 5 mg of folic acid. I have heard over 90 percent of women with epilepsy have healthy babies. The other specialist said they do not know much and that i should go to the hospital. They said that if i am not pregnant right now its good. If i am right now and there i problems then i have the option to abort. I do not even know if i am pregnant and they are giving me doom and gloom predictions even though my epilepsy doctor of 12 years does not see a problem of me starting a family. I am very healthy. I do not believe i am high risk pregnancy but the so called specialist does not want to take me in her care. What can i do? |
