We need more info here. What version of Windows? What type of file are you trying to preview? What exactly are you doing to preview?
Not all files can be previewed. A viewer needs to be installed to be able to preview.

Hi,
Its Windows 98. I mean: preview for Image files (jpg, tiff, etc). Earlier, I could view Win Explorer as 'Web Page' (View Menu - as Web Page). Now

Are you referring to thumbnail view?

Hi Scott,
Thanks for the response. In the VIEW menu of Windows Explorer, there is sub-menu named 'as Web Page'. It is not functioning in my pc. Hope, it is clear for you. I want to regain it. Please advise.

You need to turn Active Desktop on to use the WEB page view.
