Weight training for the 100m denberg 12/04/05
Why don't Olympic 100m runners do the same weight training routines for their legs as bodybuilders? Sure, I know it would look ridiculous if you had Mr Universe type legs and only a normal sized upper body, but if your aim is to be the fastest in the world and set a world 100m record, then surely you need the most powerful - and therefore by definition the BIGGEST - leg muscles possible? So why don't the Olympic 100m runners do it?

    Many thanks,
