Hi. I want to create a web page. It should have drop down forms, text fields. I want to enter some data from user into the database and be able to retrieve it from there. I have never done this, except writing some ASP code for a company. I am not sure what programming environment should I use (ASP, CGI, PHP etc) and what web hosts that would support database connection, what database to use. I need everything to be free, therefore I can use text files for database if it is possible and stuff like this. Can you guide me with the process?
