      Dear John:

Thank you for responding to my question. Just yesterday when I was surfing the internet I had 22 IE windows open and the computer did not crash.

My computer has a 1.2 GHz AMD Athlon cpu with (I think) a 333 MHz FSB, and a 60 GB HD. I have a cable internet connection with a 3.0 Mbs/128 kbs download/upload rate.

Based on this information, would you be able to tell how many IE windows I can have open on my computer?

      Thanks again,

      C.L.

No, i couldn't tell for sure. But 22 IE windows open is extreme!
Maybe you ought to try Firefox browser as use their tabbing feature.

"Tabbed browsing lets you open tabs, each displaying a web page, within a single Firefox window. This frees up space on your desktop.

You can also "browse ahead" with tabbed browsing. If you are on a long web page, you can load links in new tabs. The linked web pages will load in tabs while you read the current page." From Firefox Help file.

I am curious why you have IE open so many times.
      John
