ICorrcet me if I am wrong, so when they use that term whole food supplements, they are referring usually to food. If I recall correctly, on a commercial they were referring to a vegetable and fruit supplement (pills) that they called whole food supplements. Do companies sometimes do that as well?
Thanks in advance.

Yes ; basically what they do is extract the water from a fruit or vegetable or from animal glandualars and convert them to powders . The content of a capsule may contain the equivalent of a multiple quantity of tomatoes (for lycopene) and you get the benefit of the nutrition of them as well as the dosage of lycopene .
