Check length of line in txt file Marijn 11/19/02
    Hi Is there an easy way to check that every line in a txt file is the specified length in VBA ? I got a txt-file of specified length send to me but sometimes it is a faulty file : One line starts okay but ends with spaces . Exept for the first line the file must have the lenght of 180 characters. Is there an easy way to find out if the lines are 180 characters long ? And if not which line isn't that long. Please give an example of how I can do that because I cannot program in VBA ! :-( Thanks for any suggestion. Marijn
