May I please ask for some clarification.

1) Are you aiming to go to Thailand to work on your own initiative or are you going there as an employee of the company you work for at present?

2)Are you hoping to go there to find work or do you already have work lined up with a Thai company?

3) I assume it is your intention to go to Thailand and later apply for citizenship of that country?

4)What educational or trade qualifications do you have?

5)Are you married with children and if so do you intend taking them?

Forgive me for asking such personal questions but the laws governing work in Thailand are different depending on the circumstances.

If you do not wish to answer these questions I will understand, or if you would prefer to answer me in a Private Question which will not be shown on the public board please feel free.

Hello ICARUS
This is a follow up to my working permit in Thailand.
First Iam an American. I am 53 years old and own my a soap business.
I do not have any real trades though I am in the process of taking computer classes along with web designing and more.
I am single. I do not have a job line up with a Thai Co. I would like to work on my own first to stay busy and second to earn enough to live on thats all.I would like to become a Thai citizen someday. My education is a GED. I have been to Asia and am quite tired of Minnesota weather. Thanks for your help.
