| Odor in Urine |

Starting two to two and a half months ago, I began detecting an odor in my urine that smells like Chinese beef stew. I'm planning on seeing my doctor and requesting a urinalysis to find out the cause.
But if you can tell just from my description of the symptom what it might be, would you please tell me what the possible cause is?
I might as well mention here the medical conditions I have as well as the medications and supplements I am taking:
I am a paranoid schizophrenic, taking Zyprexa(Olanzapine), 7.5 mg. each evening.
I am a diabetic, taking 500 mg. of Metformin HCL four times a day.
I have high triglycerides and high cholesterol, and am taking 80 mg. of Simvastatin once every evening. (Until 1 week and a few days ago I was taking 20 mg. of Lipitor every evening, but I was forced to switch because my Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plan stopped covering it.)
I take 3 mg. of Melatonin and a Calcium, Magnesium & Zinc tablet every night at bedtime.
The C,M & Z tablet contains:
333mg Calcium 133mg Magnesium 5mg Zinc 333mg Copper
According to Yahoo's BMI Calculator, I have a BMI of 37.7. However, at my weight loss clinic my percentage body fat measures just 28.5, and my weight loss doctor says that based on my height and weight, it should be a lot higher. What he doesn't know is that underneath my fatty exterior there's a large amount of muscle mass from years of weight training. That's my theory of why my percentage body fat comes out so low.
I hope you will be able to help.
Many thanks,
C.L.
