BIOS upgrade gone bad pete4187 09/24/04
A friend of mine inadvertently applied the wrong BIOS to her computer. Not just the wrong version, but one for a completely different motherboard. Now her computer is dead in the water. Is there any way to bring this back to life? I've tried installing the correct BIOS, but that doesn't work because the floppy drive isn't even recognized. I've popped out the CMOS battery, but again, the wrong upgrade wrote to the motherboard directly, so resetting the settings doesn't work.
    Any ideas?
