im currently using an intel pentuim 4 1.3Ghz processor on a dell pc. i would like to upgrade to about a 2.4Ghz processor. the intel chipset is of the i850E family. The front side bus on the motherboard is 400mhz. so i'm wondering what type of processor will work with my motherboard. Im thinking along the lines a pentium 4 2.4Ghz with a 400mhz bus would be what i need but what do i know. any help on what type of processor i could upgrade to would be nice. thanks |
