turning pro late carlinpenelope 06/27/07
    Hi there,
I used to play tennis when i was four for about 2 years before i had to stop after breaking my wrist. Not long after it healed, i broke it again and did not pick up a racquet again until i was about 14. i recently turned 15 and made my highschool tennis team. My coach says i have a good chance of making varsity by 16 and may possibly recieve a scholarship for playing. He has also recommended some weekend clinics for me to try out. I really love the game and am out on the court almost every afternoon for at least 2 hours. I would like to turn pro but, just a s preference for me, not until about 17. I'm aware of the difficulties along with older age, but then i look at players like James Blake who didn't turn pro until 19. Is 17 really that unrealistic?
