Question Details Asked By Asked On
might move to a rural area and telecommute sunnier 04/17/03
    so my question is-
    there isn't a phone line for a computer;
    AT&T has a special cell phone that works as a modem and then I would use a seperate one for a phone.
    Is this the best way to do things when I dont have a phone line?
    thanks,
    Lisa

      It's about 10 miles from a main town;there are no phone wires there.
      AT&t said it is 50 a month for that modem cell phone.
      I guess you haven't heard of anyone in this position.
      do you know how I could get information on this?

      thanks for your answer it iwll help.
      I'll check earthlink and all the possibilities.
      i can see the issue-
      maybe I will need office space in a nearby town that has phone lines.

      It may be $50/month for the cell, but is that for unlimited calling?

      Hope this helps,
