Reconciling two needs rosends 08/13/07
    I am confronted with the twin obligations of getting teachers to ensure high standardized test scores (and/or completing a curriculum) and teaching complex thinking skills (whatever that means).

    How can I focus both on fact acquisition and test prep while also looking at deeper skills and this notion of "thinking?"

    Any ideas and advice?
