maths helps time:-( henriyaz 05/15/05
    urgent plzzzzz it's about. the time of my son's.... I saw in his maths copy book & I 2 guess he had written wrong & I 2 prefer ur checking whose's right...many thanks 1) 1 hr 45 min before 2.30 2.30 - 1.45 ________ we cannot subtract as 30 is lesser than 45, so from 2, we change it into 1+ 60, now 30 has the new number- 90 2.90 - 1.45 ______ 1.45 plz c if this answer's correct? 2) 2 hr 20 min before 2.30 pm 2.30 - 2.20 ______ 0.10 pm....but I 2 feel it's something wrong & can u plz explain 2 me:-((( 1 2 think my son had written 12.10- but I 2 not know why? 3) 4 min 20s + 2 min 30 s ________________ 6 min 50 s is my answer but he had written 6 mins 5 s can u plz let me know who's correct:-( 4) 8 hr 30 min - 3 hr 15 min ____________ 5.15 but he had written 5 hr 5 min:-(((( 5) 8 min 30 s - 3 min 15 s ___________ 5 min 15 s but he had written 5 hr 5 min:-(((( 6) now it's 3.18 am what time after 55 min. 3.18 am + 0.55 min ___________ 3.73 but it's now 4.13 am but my son wrote 2.63? plz help..I'm quite confusing:-((( many thanks 4 ur kind help..... he's having his weekly tests by end of this week:-((((((- I'm so worried... sorry 4 the bother H"

      "Seasons are caused by the tilting of the earth's axis towards or away from the sun. The axis is tilted 22.5 degrees, and the tilt remains constant while the planet rotates around the axis on its path (orbit) around the sun. Earth's axis is aligned with the North Star (Polaris)."
