Your question was about getting married, Not a wedding, when I said “But you should start making moves towards that goal now” I meant to make moves towards getting married, not the wedding itself, yet.

You should start sending him subtle hints and if that doesn’t work then you could propose to him instead! Then you will know where you stand. Good Luck
