Hospital Intercom Paging Announcement Ccl471 01/02/07
I first heard the words "Dr. Davis, telephone please, Dr. Davis, telephone please. Dr. Blair, Dr. Blair, Dr. J. Hamilton, Dr. J. Hamilton." in a song on a Queensryche album.

Because I'm a Queensryche fan, I listened to that album many, many times and so became familiar with that hospital paging message.

Then I began noticing that in a lot of TV shows they were using that specific page message in their hospital scenes. Just this evening I heard it in a movie hospital scene my brother was watching on cable TV.

Why are so many TV/movie producers using that page in their hospital scenes? Why not have each page have an original message, and not just recycle the same message over and over again from one production to another?

    Many thanks,

    C.L.
