| Jock Strap |

Hello Experts:
Ok, I'll admit it if you promise to never tell anybody. I don't know what a jock strap is for. Oh yeah, I wore one when I worked out, but it was only because I didn't want the other jocks to think I was a pussy.
I've worked out succcessfull with out one. I ski hard and work hard, but I don't notice that I'm vulnerable to ----- something?
So, what the hell is it supposed to do?

Hello: Size in this case does not matter.
It's all for protecting ones private areas, against harm that could eventually lead to further problems, such as chaffing, getting bruised, or just not appropriately dressed,and comfort.
Many men have said they appreciated the fact they knew they were contained, just like women who wear bras, just because they might not need one, eventually the pull of gravity will tear away and break the chest area down.
Whereas with a strap, some men felt during sports their private area's just swinging and not contained has caused so men to become sterile, but one should ask a physician about that one.
