Time it Takes to Reach Pluto Ccl471 01/17/06
I just read on Yahoo News today that NASA postponed the launch of an unmanned probe to Pluto because of wind conditions. The article said that once launched the probe would take 9-14 years to reach pluto.

Why do they not have a specific number of years it takes for the trip, like 11.5 years, for example?

    Many thanks,

    C.L.
