| Pls. help -error installing Pinnacle Hollywood FX |

There's this error message that keeps popping up and hangs everytime I tried and re-tried installing Hollywood FX vols, 1,2,and 3 for Pinnacle Studio Plus 10.7.
The error says:
Pinnacle HFX Volume 1 Setup:hfxVolume1Full.exe - Application Error
The instruction at Ŕx10057935" referenced memory at Ŕx6f532d65". The memory could not be "written".
Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program
Does anyone have any idea what this means? I would appreciate it if anyone could pls help me out. As usual with most people's frustrating experience, their helpdesk wasn't very helpful, to say the least. I've spoke to most of their tech support almost on daily basis for about 2 weeks, but it was horribly useless. I tried going into safe mode, uninstalling Studio Plus 10.7 as well as the Bonus DVD, Premium Packs, RFTX 1 and 2, using ENDITALL like their tech support suggests, cleaning out the registry, re-installing, copying the software on Hollywood FX vol 1 cd to the PC and then re-installing, all that, but the error keeps popping up. I know my PC is clean as whistle, nothing in the background, disbling and removing anti-virus, firewall, etc.. Now I feel like returning the entire bundle package just because of this error--ahhh, but the Hollywood FX effects are so cool if only it can be installed..SOS please help..thank you again |
