Mildew smell coming from bathroom sink drain Anonymous 07/10/06
I have a mildew smell coming from my bathroom sink drain. Sometimes it is worse than others. I have tried putting bleach down the drain and letting it sit for the night. The smell gets stronger for a while, in reaction to it, and it didn't seem to really help. We have had clogs in the past and my husband has been able to get a lot of black stuff up out of there while plunging. Is there something I can dump in the drain that will kill it, or should we take the pipes apart under the sink and clean those out? Please help; the smell is really getting to me!
