I have ask the same question in the DEATH & DYING section under the HEALTH category, but I thought i get more responses if I post here. Anyway, my question is with the world so unfair--the rich keeps getting richer, and the poor and keeps getting poorer, and 3rd world conditions geting worst along with population explosion--meaning there will be less resources to go around like food, water, land.etc., is it worth still living? I do not support suicide, o course, but being a typical good concern citizen, I cannot help but think what it must be lijke for the less fortunate. For example, I read a moving story with some gross pictures of an amputated guy--one of his arms and legs gone--still trying as hard and as best as he can to go crawl out in the back of city streets or city life or wherever he can muster the entire day to support his family of 5 kids or so. im thinking, shees..is anybody going help the poor guy? I keep wondering what must going in his mind every second...will he continue to struggle or will he do a number on himself? |
