Hello,
I bought my first computer about 9 months ago. It is a Dell Dimension 2400 with Windows XP and a Celeron processor. I use ISP.com for my dial-up connection.
I've taken the advice of various people about computer security and maintenance and I am wondering what you think about my overall approach.
I have: AVG Free edition Zone Alarm firewall Spybot S & D, which I run every few months; Spyware Blaster 3.3 CW Shredder, which I've run only once; I use Mozilla's Firefox browser; My email account is thru Yahoo Mail; and I use defragment every few months.
Also I use a surge protector with all my computer components; and I dust my computer with an air duster when dust builds up on the outside.
Would you add or subtract anything from the above list so my computer stays healthy for as long as possible?
Thank you,
John |
