Being a good sales person sallie00 06/29/07
I hear tone, enthusiasm, etc (I don't know what else is important when speaking with persons)

I will give an example of the script, and you can give suggestions on how to speak with the best sale pitch.

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Sir/Madam My name is I am an account manager calling on behalf of (Telephone Co) Business Services. I need to speak with the person who is in charge of your business account please.

This is a courtesy call to first of all thank you for being a valued (Telephone Co) Business customer and to make sure that you are taking advantage of the current discount offers.

(WHY) Because if we don’t provide you with some additional savings one of our competitors will, and Verizon does not want to lose you as a customer.

As part of our “Loyalty Program” we want pass some potential savings on to you by offering you DiscountPak Service.

Many (Tel Co) Business customers realize a savings when adjusting to the DiscountPak Service.

DiscountPak is basically the same service as your current dial tone lines (basic line) plus a whole lot more.

With the DiscountPak service your monthly rate will go to _______ per month.

We are going to give you 12 additional features at no extra cost. So if you are paying for them now, you will no longer be.

On top of that we will guarantee that rate for 36 months. This way you will not need to worry about any rate increases, plus you will be receiving 12 additional features at no extra cost. So if you are paying for them now you will no longer be.

    Thanks in advance.
