    hungry boss
    ---
i work for a manufacturing company in production and the president of the company steals his workers' hours, hence money. for example we worked on Sun before Mon labor day, so that some people could earn money, because labor day is a holiday, so nobody works. People who worked for a company for more than 4 months had to get free holiday leave, so they get paid for holiday hours. The president didnt pay them. The hours we worked on Sun were considered as overtime hours, but he shifted them to non-overtime hours, so it is like we worked on labor day, you know. He should give us overtime money for Sun and normal money for labor day for people working there more than 4 months. People are shocked, but nobody says anything. Some smart managers working there told him this and he pays them right, but others dont say anything, because they are mostly immigrant workers and people with dissabilities, who dont count every hour or dont speack English well. I wonder how this behaviour of the president of the company can be classified and what can I do to make him pay salary right. He thinks he can do this, because he doesnt check for drugs, background history, allows profanities and dont force to work too much, so people there are from jails, drug users etc. He also bribes them by giving free food on Fridays and makes picnics every Summer on his rancho by the lake, so even I feel guilty by ratting on him. But I am sure he just bribes the workers and saves much more then he spends on free food and entertainment. But I just want to know possible ways to solve the problem just in case, because knowledge is power.
