A jeweler heats 60g of gold (about 2 oz) almost to melting,1000 degrees C and drops it in a cold cup of coffee to heat it up. If the cup has 200 ml of liquid in it (treat it as pure water) and is at 25 degrees C before the hot gold is dropped in, estimate the temperature after the gold has been added. the specific heat capacity of gold is 0.13 J/g?K. Water has a specific heat capacity of 4.2 J/g?K. remember that the density of water is about 1.0 g/cc and that 1cc = 1 ml. Note that 1K = 1 degree C
