my picture card on my camera not showing my pictures nenac 12/03/06
My picture card on my digital camera was working perfectly until about two hours ago. I put the card into a card reader in my computer and the pictures showed, but then I took out my card, and when I put it back into my camera, the screen said "card setup" with the options of turning the power off or going to format. I went to format, but did not press the yes button to delete my images. But I can not go to the menu, and it is staying on the "card setup" screen. I put in one of my other picture cards, and my camera showed the images, but my other card will not show the images. Can I send it to be repaired to the manufacturers without a warranty to retrieve the pics, or can I send them to another company or store for them to retrieve the photos? Are my photos lost forever, even though I didn't press the format? Or can the card be fixed? Can photos be retrieved if I have this problem? Please give me some advice.
