Spraying for Lyme Disease & Deer Tick control (Outdoors) DILLIGAS 05/08/04
I live in Southern New Jersey, Zone 6. I am not in a sub development, but tin the woods. It is on the edge of the Pine Barrens, and the area around the house is borde5red with a mix of trees, both coniferous and deciduous.

I would like to spray for ticks, but do not know where to start. We have been told that there are problems with Lyme Disease, and with the Deer Tick population in our area, but no one has told us what we can do to help stave off the number that may be around the children when they go out to play on the play set or are just outside.

I would rather not use anything that has to be sprayed when the children are present, but rather something that I can apply occasionally that will help keep them at bay.

If anyone has any suggestions, that would help, I would appreciate it.

    Thanks

    DILLIGAS
