Transplanting next year smurfpam 08/23/05
We are planning to landscape an area next spring that will require about 25-30 shrubs, perennials, etc. We found some nice plants at a great savings and purchased them now. We heard there is a way to plant them, in their original pots now, and dig them up next spring when we are ready to permenantly plant them. We considered planting them in a garden plot for the winter, once it is cleaned out. Is this correct and are there any tips to keep them over the winter? We live in south central PA. Thanks in advance for any help.
