Effective Exercises to Assist in Sciatica Treatment headranger 06/12/03
I am a 55 yr old male with a recurring problem with sciatica in my lower back. I know what it is because I had a bout with it 10 yrs ago. I am using Chiro treatments but they are only marginally effective. I do use ice packs a few times daily which helps with pain by reducing the inflammation. My Md has prescribed Naprocin which helps but not much. Does anyone out there have a suggestion as to a few exercises I might do to deal with the pain and an overall strategy to strengthen my back. I welcome any/all suggestions and comments. Thanks, HeadRanger in SF
