Hi, i am not trying to get you to do my shopping for me, but i am trying to help a friend who hopes to buy a new PC (just the tower) for around 400+
I am fairly PC literate, but would like your opinions on the folowing:
Which Mobo company would you rate as the best, between Abit, ASrock, Asus, ECS, and Infinity, as regards lower cost boards?
How much of an advantage might one get in speed by having a real Video and Audio card, versus one built into the Mobo?
And are all Ethernet cards pretty much alike?
What would the rsik be of going for a PC amde by a wholesaler rather than a comopany like Dell (which i have)?
Between these two picks, which would you say is the better buy (with memory upgrade to 2GBm, and maybe a better Mobo, fans). http://www.ascendtech.us/customkititems.asp?kc=DTLGA775661PCWN http://www.pc-infinity.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=P&Product_Code=PW086501000250OS
Other recommendations are welcome.
Thanks and may God bless you.
