| Problems building a Video CD with Nero Vision |

My digital camera takes videos as well as stills, & I can connect the camera to the TV & play them in shooting/file no. sequence, irrespective of file type jpg or avi.
I want to transfer the files to DVD or CD & play them as tho from the camera. I've tried building a video CD using Nero Vision, with menu, but that always 'hangs' about 4 secs from the end. Project comprises several chapters - some individual .avi files, & some collections of .jpg, & 2 menu pages. Nero says total about 140MB.
Anybody out there have any idea why Nero might ‘hang’? Eg, faulty s/w, insufficient memory (only 256MB), using CD instead of DVD. I’ve tried leaving it for an hour or more, in case it is a long process. Nero window remains active, so I can press the ‘abort’ button, & it asks if I’m sure, but it doesn’t end. Windows Task Mgr says Nero is ‘running’, but CPU activity only around 4%, so it isn’t looping. When I hit ‘end task’ it says ‘Program not responding’.
Or maybe someone can tell me a better way to do what I want.
Thank you. |
Clarification/Follow-up by lean179 on 04/17/07 2:26 pm: As I already said in my answer, I am no expert, but such problems should be discussed in the 'Readme' file of your Nero program, that should also tell you how to solve them.
