Someone gave me a box of "stuff" to be recycled...i.e. knic knacs, books, just odds and ends and amongst all this stuff: a Palm 505!! I have no idea what it is. I cannot turn it on. (I am quite computer illiterate DUH!). Perhaps the battery is finished. It is about 4 inches x 3 inches with a beautiful sleek leather cover with topstitching around the edge. What is it and can I sell it? (The condition is perfect. The screen is not scratched and there are no markings on it.) At the top on the left top side I am able to pull out a little square "thing" that has ridges in it(it is about 3/4 " in size) and the number ൗ" is printed on it and "PalmPowered". On the back of the Palm is a bar code and number underneath. It feels expensive, is it and how can I sell it and approximately what is it worth? I appreciate any advice and suggestions. Thanks! |
Clarification/Follow-up by violet0019 on 11/03/07 11:17 am: Thank you for your reply.....but..... 1. what is a "PDA"? 2. when you say: "Try getting a charger, charge it for a few hours and see if it will turn on." ..... what type of "charger"? And, where would I get one? 3. and so, if it DOES turn on ...... then ....... what is your opinion? 4. could I possibly sell it as is and still get some $$? And if yes would you be able to tell me the minimum amount I could ask for a very quick sale? Thanks :)
