| success in keeping deer out of the garden |

I received some ideas on how to keep deer out of my garden, some good ideas that probably work. But none of them sounded really good to me. I was going to try all of the ideas and suggestions I had all at the same time, just to be sure.
I wanted to do something extra just to make certain those deer would not come back to my garden though so I took a can of Raid House & Garden Bug Killer Formula #7 with me out to my garden.
I love my garden very much but as I stood there preparing to protect it from the ravenous deer, I wondered: if I use all the techniques I know about, how will I know which one works and which one does not or which one is effective or more effective and which is not?
I decided to use one thing at a time and if none alone worked, I would begin combining efforts until I found what works best and simplest to keep the deer away.
I sprayed the Raid all around the outside of my garden and lightly misted the air above my crops. The deer have not been back into my garden, though since it has rained every day, I do have to go re-spray after the rain stops.
Do you think that will keep them away or will they get used to it and come back? There has been enough rain this year that my garden is not the only or even the tastiest food source around.
Will they just stay away since my garden doesn't smell right?
