Viewing newsgroups w/o software reader havok3450 07/19/04
I want to share various usenet groups with my friends who are unwilling to download a usenet group reader. Is there software that I can run on my web server or a Java plugin that will allow them them to see this information through a standard web browser? For reference, I receive the newsgroup posts through RSS feeds and the links for the feeds usually look like:

    uk.telecom.mobile
Re: E2Save: Another stupid cashback deal...
    news:ccv1ve$klu$1@newsg3.svr.pol.co.uk

Any help would be much appreciated.

Sorry I didn't clarify enough, by software reader I meant to include outlook as well. With outlook, you still need to configure the newsgroup server. I want to make it so that it requires no action on their part: they click on the post, and it opens in a new web browser window using some sort of script or hosting solution.

There has to be some action on their part. You would be better off teaching them how to use a reader. The only option I see is to write your own reader.

      Hope this helps,
