A couple of years ago, I purchased "The Encyclopedia of Military History", by R. Ernest Dupuy and Trevor N. Dupuy, from Alibris.com.
At the time, I was looking for a military history encyclopedia, but I was unable to find a multi-volume one. The above work I purchased was a single volume, 1406 pages. It does cover world military history from 3500 BC to its date of publishing.
Is there a multi-volume encyclopedia covering world military history from the beginning of recorded history to present that is as big as something like the Encyclopedia Britannica or even larger?
