Lt. Col. Custer and Little Big Horn KofC-ASK-ME 10/03/05
    I had a very interesting conversation with a gentleman last week - he stated that President Grant viewed Lt. Col. Custer as a political rival, and saw to it that the Sioux at Little Big Horn were supplied with Winchester repeating rifles.

    Does this assertion have any truth to it?
