Hello, I forgot to tell you what causes a stage one ulcer!

A stage one ulcer is the beginnings of a pressure sore commonly called a bedsore. These are common in people who have limited mobility and remain in the same position for long periods of time, like someone who is very sick in bed, or someone in a wheelchair. A pressure sore develops in certain individuals who, because of immobility, stay in the same position so long as to cause enough pressure (on pressure points) to have the blood supplying their tissues with oxygen and nutrients cut off at pressure points. The pressure points are areas that bare the most weight and often are in areas of boney prominences. At these points on the skin and underlying tissues, the skin and tissue no longer receives oxygen and nutrients and will die if left unattended. This results in an ulcer of the skin.
