Which pain reliever to take? jpollardsmith 12/16/02
    Hi,

I am a 37-yr-old male and sometimes I have headaches and colds.
Recently I had a nasal septoplasty and my surgeon wanted me to
not take aspirin for a few weeks so I will heal quicker.

And this issue with aspirin kind of confused me.

I was wondering, for headaches and colds, what are the best pain relievers to use--aspirin, acetominophen, or ibuprofen? I used to
think they are interchangeable, but now I'm not sure.

    Would you know?

    Thanks,

    john
