Podiatrist and orthopedist meliprosperity 03/24/06
    Hi, I'm getting a bunionectomy in a few wks and I was just curious as to what is the difference between a podiatrist and an orthopedist? Can a pod. perform a bunionectomy or is that only something an orthopedist does? I have a huge list of questions for my doctor when I go in before surgery but I also want to be informed on my own to make sure the information is accurate.
