What does this mean? Conchan 08/21/03
    Hello Mr. Turner,

I am having trouble understanding the following sentence. Would you please explain it to me?

No self-respecting scientist would mix English and metric systems.

Does this mean that scientists only need to know one of the two systems? or something else?

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Have a nice day?

    Sincerely,
    Conchan
