I have a intel p4, with red had linux 7.3, when ever i seach for some file using the utility in kde menus, named as "find files", with look in option "/" the system becomes extreemly slow, even it is difficult to switch to some other open window, and then the system hangs up.This happens only when the look in option is /, for all other options, it works slowly, but dont hangs up. Any way to solve this, as the option / is neccessary to find the files in whole box. My defualt desktop is gnome, with runlevel 5, from where i use the find files.
