Crime Committed While Drugged Ccl471 06/24/07
Let's say that one night at a bar someone slipped a drug into my drink without my knowing it. The drug makes me go unconscious and the next day I wake up with blood all over my clothes and my arms, and I have no idea how the blood got there.

Later on the police arrest me and charge me with butchering someone to death. The blood on my clothes matches that of the victim.

Would it still be possible to convict me of wrongdoing in the killing?

    Many thanks,

    C.L.

Ok, well let's say someone in the same party as the one who slipped the drug into my drink testifies in court that he knew of the drugging of my drink, and I pass a lie detector test saying that I have no memory of the crime, then what? Would they still be able to convict me of murder?

      Thanks again,

      C.L.
