Rental Leases Linoleumpoppyz 06/13/06
I have a lease and my landlord recently started writing "donation" on my rental receipts, claiming it is a donation to a church he claims to run. Is he violating the terms of the lease by doing this, or tax law? I suppose I should be putting this on my taxes so I can get a refund. It also seems to me as though my landlord is voilating the law in some way. What should I do? Were I to be audited, who would be in the wrong?
