| Lots of lint question |

Hi,
I just started doing my laundry on my own.
When I dry my clothes in a dryer, usually it's two washer loads on high heat, and I clean out the lint trap, I almost always get a big handful of lint.
I was wondering if big handfuls of lint is normal or am I doing something wrong.
Would you know?
